A bit of this and a bit of that

H&M: trend panel blouse, cape cardigan and denim trousers
Misselfridge: long boob tube (underneath)

Today I spent my last full day off work with some of my family. We went for a belated birthday lunch for my mums birthday as last week the snow disrupted our plans. We Went quite early hence the second plate of dinner I ate this evening! Yes i'm very skinny an don't have a clue where all this food goes.

I wore almost all H&M today. Talk about advertising them but I suppose with my staff discount I cant refuse a bargain! I had a nice day today minus feeling a little unwell. Im a little bit sad to be going back to work tomorrow although tomorrow is extra hours as I have agreed to help with some visual work in a different store. I really want to get in to the visual merchandising side of the job and so always try to help out when possible.

Also:
Don't worry, I am working on my wish list based on the Vogue post I did recently.

I am also starting to get a little bit annoyed with Zara as I have yet to even receive an email to say that the shirt I ordered has been dispatched. This has now been longer than the maximum of 7 days they guarantee online, not to mention I went in to store to ask and they have no way of finding out when it may arrive to store! I love Zara but this is testing my patience.

AND breathe... Rant over for the day

Friday

Shoe Spree

So originally me and my sister were going to browse the bullring to buy my mum a birthday present. We got there early and the first shop we went in to was Schuh with the intention to buy my mum some boots. However my sister ended up leaving with some bargain boots that I pointed out.

Sadly with my recent house move I am trying to cut back on spending so on a normal occasion I would have probably bought them myself at the bargain price of 34.99 in sale! So we also ordered my mum the classic 'Kickers' boot in bright red as she has a mad love for those old school boots.
My sister also wanted to get the same bargain wedges that I had bought a couple of weeks ago and so we went to Bank where she purchased those for £10 and thanks to her student discount I bought some off white Superga pumps that would have been £45! I do have to add that these wedges smell amazing!!

After our crazy shoe spree we went and grabbed a butterscotch  Ed's Shake which was delicious and slowly becoming an addictive must have. We browsed through many clothing shops and it was very hard not to buy everything that caught my eye (sad face) from COS jumpers to TOPSHOP t-shirts and RIVER ISLAND dungarees. One of the most tempting of all...

These Jeffrey Campbell wedges!! down from £115- £40!!

I really do love them but had no possible reason as to why I should buy them. Its a bit of a regret as they were so cheap and so pretty. I still think I may keep an eye on them until I have persuaded myself and my overdraft that I do actually need them.

Vogue Love

I enjoyed this months issue of Vogue, especially the photography and styling for 'the new modern'. I love the tri-colour combination as Lucinda Chambers discusses and feel that this future trend will compliment almost everyones personal style and figure. Obviously we can't all afford most of the garments promoted. However in the next couple of days I aim to find alternatives, be it a small accessory to a coat or lipstick!

Tuesday

Wish list Item

So for a while now I have been lusting after a pajama style blouse. I know that they have been around for some time sadly I could never in a million years afford a Dolce & Gabbana. Recently I have been looking for a reasonably priced blouse and have tried on two which i felt did not suit me HOWEVER, a blouse caught my eye and luckily went into sale before I had time to purchase it! I ordered it online a couple of days ago and I am waiting to go and collect it from store.

Its from Zara which is one of my favourite shops for good quality, stylish key wardrobe pieces. The blouse was originally priced at £39.99 and in sale currently at £17.99. Such a bargain really, I just hope it suits me when I try it on! It's one of those tops that you probably feel that you can only wear occasionally as the print is a bit memorable (hot air balloons). I'm not defiantly sure what i will wear with it yet, I assume black skinny jeans for a nice simple look.
